Terms of Service

Chacha is a place to discover things to buy. Brands and creators post photos, tag the products in them, and you can go and buy those products from the brand.

Chacha does not sell you anything. Every purchase is a contract between you and the brand. Checkout happens on the brand's own store, they take your payment, and they are responsible for the product, the price, delivery, returns and refunds. If something goes wrong with an order, the brand is who can fix it — though we will help you reach them.

You need to be 16 or older. Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if someone else gets into your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

What you post stays yours. By posting it you give Chacha permission to show it in the app — in feeds, on your profile, in search, and on mood boards other people save it to. That permission lasts as long as the content is on Chacha, and ends when you delete it, except where someone has already saved a copy to their own board.

Post only what you have the right to post. Do not post other people's photos as your own, anything illegal, anything hateful or harassing, sexual content, or anything designed to mislead people about a product.

We can remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Approved creators earn a commission when someone buys a product through a post they made. A sale is credited to a creator when the buyer reached the product through their post — the app records which post led to a cart, and the commission follows from that.

Commission is calculated on the product price, excluding VAT and delivery. The rate that applies is shown in the app.

Earnings shown in the app are estimates until the brand confirms the order. Cancelled, refunded or fraudulent orders do not earn commission, and commission already credited for them is reversed.

If you post as a creator, say so. Where a post is commercial, label it — that is your obligation as well as ours.

Do not scrape it, break into it, try to inflate your own commissions, create accounts to manufacture sales, or use it to spam other people. Do not resell or redistribute what you find here as though it were yours.

We will try to keep Chacha running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of faults. We may change or withdraw features. If we withdraw something that matters, we will say so.

Chacha is responsible for the Chacha service. It is not responsible for the products sold through it, the accuracy of what brands or creators say about them, or what happens on a brand's own store. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

You can stop using Chacha and delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will explain why unless the law prevents us.

We will tell you in the app before a material change to these terms takes effect. Continuing to use Chacha after that means you accept them.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
